Privacy in plain language: SpeakPress does not send your WordPress content, API keys, uploaded audio, generated audio, or visitor activity to servers operated by Mrdzyn Studio. Mrdzyn Studio does not operate a separate SpeakPress cloud database or advertising tracker. Paid purchases and licensing are handled by Freemius, which acts as Merchant of Record. If you choose to connect a voice provider, your content is sent directly from your WordPress site to that provider only when you request voice generation.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how SpeakPress, a WordPress text-to-speech and voiceover plugin by Mrdzyn Studio, handles information when you install, activate, purchase, or use the plugin.

SpeakPress can provide browser/device speech, playback of audio you already own, and optional premium integrations with third-party voice providers such as Google Cloud Text-to-Speech, ElevenLabs, and Dubverse.

This policy applies to the SpeakPress plugin itself. Third-party services used with SpeakPress have their own privacy policies and terms.

2. Mrdzyn Studio Does Not Directly Collect Personal Information Through SpeakPress

SpeakPress is designed so that Mrdzyn Studio does not independently collect or store personal information from your WordPress site through a Mrdzyn Studio-operated backend.

SpeakPress does not send the following to Mrdzyn Studio servers:

Mrdzyn Studio does not sell personal information collected through SpeakPress and does not use SpeakPress to build advertising profiles about your site visitors.

SpeakPress does not require a Mrdzyn Studio cloud account in order to use its core plugin functionality.

3. Information Stored in Your Own WordPress Site

SpeakPress stores certain settings and operational information inside your own WordPress installation so the plugin can function.
